BINTULU: SMK Kidurong has recorded 33 students with straight As in the Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR) examination.
Out of 465 candidates, 19 of them scored 8As while 14 others with 7As. The school’s passing rate is 81.3 per cent compared with 73.3 per cent last year while the GPS is 2.60 compared with 2.83 recorded last year.
Meanwhile, SMK Bintulu which has 563 candidates recorded 22 students with straight As, with nine of the students scoring 8As and 13 securing 7As. The passing rate is 64.04 per cent compared with 63.85 per cent last year with a of GPS 3.04.
SMK Assyakirin on the other hand has two and six students scoring 8As and 7As respectively.
A total of 273 candidates sat for the examination with 65.2 per cent passing rate and with a GPS 2.97 recorded.
A total of seven students scored straight As in SMK Baru out of 446 candidates. The school’s passing rate is 65 per cent with GPS of 2.99.
