32 straight As at Kuching High

WE MADE IT: SMK Kuching High top scorers show their result slips.

KUCHING: SMK Kuching High registered 32 straight-A scorers for this year’s Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR).

Its grade point average (GPA) was 2.1, slightly lower compared to 2.22 last year.

The overall pass rate was 83.7 per cent while English was the subject with the highest pass percentage at 98.12. The pass rate for Bahasa Malaysia and Chinese were 95.51 per cent and 88.26 per cent respectively.

A total of 267 students sat for the public examination at the school this year, a drop of 50 compared to last year.

The school produced 39 straight-A students last year.
