SIBU: Police here have arrested a man and a woman on suspicion of causing the death of a 68-year-old man following a quarrel.
Jana Jamit was believed to have been hit on the head by a sharp object on Thursday at Rumah Tedong in Ulu Sungai Entabai, Julau.
Julau police chief DSP Bidol Noyeng yesterday confirmed the arrests of a 29-year-old man and 51-year-old woman.
They have been placed under a seven-day remand since yesterday.
The case was classified under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
