SIBU: A delegation of Sarawak China Trade Import and Export Association made a courtesy call on the People’s Republic of China Consul-General Liu Quan in Kuching recently.
The delegation led by the association’s president, Tiong Yong Bong, included the life honorary chairman cum executive advisor Wong Ee Sing, Councillor So Teck Kee (vice-secretary) and Tiong Chiong Kiing (Commercial Affairs chief officer).
During the courtesy call, they extended their invitation to Liu and Consul Wang JIan based in Kuching Consulate to a double celebration to be organised by the association at Kingwood hotel here on April 6.
The celebration is for the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Malaysia and the 42nd anniversary of the formation of the association.
