MIRI: Inspector Gilbert Cinhin Simunga has taken over from Inspector Goldy Jangan as Batu Niah officer in charge (OCS).
Gilbert was formerly OCS for Gita police station in Kuching.
Miri police chief ACP Mun Kock Keong witnessed the handing over of duties at the Miri police headquarters yesterday.
He praised Goldy for his excellent work in Batu Niah during his six years as OCS.
Goldy will take over as OCS for the Santubong station in Kuching.
He joined the police 17 years ago and is a father of three.
