KUCHING: It was truly a gift from Santa for 18 winners of the ‘A Gift from Santa Answer and Win Contest’ yesterday when they received complimentary passes to dine at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) for the Yuletide season.
The Borneo Post and See Hua Daily News organised the ‘A Gift from Santa Answer and Win Contest’ with sponsorship from BCCK.
Winners of complimentary pre-Christmas buffet dinner passes for two were Wong Lee Ching, Grace Chai Wei Ling, Mabry Anyip, Chai Hon Min, Catherina Guan and Faerah Mohamad.
Regina Boniface Nugi, Basil Ong Sing Siing, Wong Lih Jiin, Lee Sok Khuang, Sia Kee Way and Song Pak Ting each received complimentary Christmas brunch passes for two.
The winners of complimentary passes for two for the Christmas holiday buffet dinner were Maryling Jaco, Dave Alexander Yi, Sandra Chee Yi Hui, Choo Chun Say, Bong Sim Moi and Jong Si Kiong.
Winning the contest will certainly be a treasured memory particularly for Lih Jiin, whose birthday is on Christmas day.
“I’m very happy and I treat this win as a special gift for my birthday,” she said after the prize presentation ceremony, adding it would be her first time dining at BCCK.
