MIRI: All members of Dayak Association Miri (DAM) are reminded to turn up early for the association’s Biennial General Meeting (BGM) which will take place tomorrow at Rumah Dayak Miri.
Registration for the BGM starts at 8am while the BGM itself will commence at 9am.
“The secretary-general’s report and the treasurer’s report are available for interested DAM members and can be collected from Rumah Dayak Miri, Jalan Merpati during office hours,” said DAM president Jonathan Bedindang.
DAM members may also contact the association’s office at 085-435467 for more details on the BGM.
Meanwhile, the association is appealing to all eligible Dayaks here to sign up as members of DAM. Application forms are obtainable from Rumah Persatuan Dayak Miri.
Entrance fee for an ordinary member is RM10 and annual subscription is RM10. The fee for life membership open to those who have been members of the association for two continuous years is RM100, payable at the time of submitting the application.
