71 Muslim pupils from Tatau take part in self-development camp

Pupils from the three primary schools in Tatau with their certificates of completion in a group photo with the organising committee members.

TATAU: Seventy-one pupils from SK Tatau, SK Kelawit and SJK Chung Hua Tatau took part in a two-day self-development camp at the compound of Masjid Darul Ibadah Tatau recently.

Education Bureau of Sarawak Islamic Council and Masjid Darul Ibadah committee co-organised the camp.

One of the objectives of the camp was to produce capable and competitive students who are confident of themselves.

Masjid Darul Ibadah chairman Harris Sisik thanked the Sarawak Islamic Council for its support and cooperation in organising and sponsoring the camp.

The camp was the fourth programme of its kind that involved Muslim students in Tatau, Harris noted.
