Cash and kind

Volunteer social worker Lim Chee Haw (left) hands over foodstuff and RM3,190.00 to Chong Dee Sim (right), charity event deputy chief of Che Hia Khor Moral Uplifting Society, Sarawak. The cash is meant for the poor who cannot afford coffins for their dearly departed while the foodstuff is meant for the needy whose plight is brought to the society’s attention. Lim has been doing voluntary charitable work for the last 10 years after he retired from the marine police force. He is willing to assist those in need regardless of race and religion.
