MIRI: Four families, who are fire victims of Ladang Tiga Estate here, received donations from Tabung Baitulmal Sarawak (TBS) Miri branch yesterday.
Each of the families was represented by their head namely Sianuddin Jessa, Abidin Rudding, Mardin Aspal and Saso Modding.
TBS Miri branch chief Marini Juraibi said the donation aimed to ease the burden of the fire victims.
“We handed over financial aid to the victims and used clothing donated by the public,” she added.
The handover ceremony was held during their visit to Ladang Tiga Estate here yesterday.
Also present during the visit was estate assistant manager Mohammad Zulfadly Rasidi.
