MANILA, PHILIPPINES: Celebrities from Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand came together for the final leg of the Shell FuelSave Celebrity Driving Challenge 2014 yesterday.
It follows a series of national fuel efficiency driving challenges where the four celebrities were educated on smarter driving by the ultimate fuel efficiency experts – Shell Eco-marathon student teams.
Participants for the final challenge were Malaysian model and television host Lisa Surihani; Filipina journalist, model and television host Bianca Gonzalez; Singapore celebrity deejay Jean Danker and Thai-English actor and showbiz star Alex Simon Rendell.
Picking up smarter driving tips from the teams along the way, the celebrities attempted to drive a set route across their countries using as little Shell Fuelsave as possible, showing everyday drivers how easy it is to reduce their fuel consumption by using the correct fuel and making a few simple changes to their driving habits.
The Shell FuelSave Celebrity Driving Challenge is the latest initiative in Shell’s ongoing efforts to educate and inspire drivers on how to make their fuel last longer.
This includes launching the Shell FuelSave Target One Million campaign which aims to help one million drivers around the world learn how to make their fuel last longer via a series of online games at www.shell.com/targetonemillion.
