SIBU: A man was relieved of RM13,000 cash when he stopped by the road side near a cemetery in Bukit Lima here to answer the call of nature.
The incident happened when the victim in his 30s was driving home to Umpe Rantai Road at 11pm Sunday.
When he passed by Bukit Lima, he decided to stop to ease himself.
Two men on a motorcycle then came with one of them pressing a sharp object against his back and ordered him to surrender his valuables.
The victim has lodged a police report.
In an unrelated incident, thieves carted away two handphones and a wallet from a house at Merlin Road here on Monday.
An elderly couple who stayed at the house discovered two window panes at the kitchen missing and lodged a police report.
