SIBU: Sibu police chief ACP Mohd Kamal Kordi led a big bike convoy to Mukah yesterday morning in an effort to promote community policing.
Head of Special Branch DSP Dely Beng flagged off the event at the Police Headquarters here at 8.54am.
The journey of 125km takes about two and half hours to reach the destination.
About 70 participants, including policemen from various departments and big bike enthusiasts took part in the convoy.
They were given road safety tips by a spokesperson from traffic department before starting the journey.
